The long awaited month of summer is always slow to arrive. Summer is by far the most exciting season of our youth ministry! Our teens get a chance to experience serving others at Nashville Workcamp, the power of passionate worship at Impact, and the peace that comes from loving on a child in either Mexico or Inner-City Montgomery. Every trip allows our teens to experience the amazing love of God!
Impact is a camp that takes place on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. The purpose of this camp is to challenge teenagers to take their relationship with God seriously. Our 6-8th graders participate in JR Impact while our 9th-12th grade students attend SR Impact. |

The FireHouse ministry offers several weekend retreats throughout the school year. Our retreats strive to provide an environment for spiritual growth and renewal. Currently, we have a Fall Retreat in November, a Leadership Retreat in February, and Guys’/Girls’ Retreats in March and April. We always look forward to bonding as a youth group and being together.
Our guys’ and girls’ retreats take place in the Spring. At these retreats, our teens make unforgettable memories, forming friendships that will last throughout their high school career. Guys’ and girls’ retreats are also low cost! In addition to our regularly scheduled events, the Fire House ministry offers special activities throughout the year (service projects, Martin Movie Mushroom Marble Monday, Super Bowl Party, Kidnap Breakfast, trip to Six Flags, devotionals with other churches, Halloween Hayride, concerts, and Bible studies). These activities help our teenagers develop meaningful relationships, encouraging them in their walk with the Lord. Our youth activities give our teens a chance to bond with one another, whether it is over a piece of pizza or a roller coaster ride. |
